Association CoBalt

Like the alloy of cobalt, aims to use different means of artistic expression associated with contemporary dance in order to give an eclectic, multidisciplinary orientation, for human and environmental questions, involving each artist in his free expression and perception of reality.

The CoBalt Association, based in Geneva, creates, depending on the projects,  performances combining dance with theater, singing, music on stage, circus, acrobatics and multimedia.

The goal is to spread the emotion through a visual and sensitive message. The performances are cultural events open to a large audience.

In addition to its choreographic creations, the CoBalt Association works in educational awareness and mediation activities through Masterclass, Workshop and Artistic Residency, open to all.

Meetings with the public during conferences, discussions, workshops, work-in-progress of current creations, allow everyone to actively participate and get to know the work of CoBalt Association.

CoBalt’s productions are directed by the Swiss choreographer and artistic director Rébecca Spinetti. In addition to her own artistic creations, Rébecca is also regularly invited as a guest choreographer and stage director by other  companies or cultural organizations.

Her choreographies and staging have been presented to date in Switzerland, France, Italy, India, Mexico, Uruguay and Peru.
